da cassino online: Tottenham attacker Rafael van der Vaart’s hamstring injury is not as serious as first thought, and the forward could be in line to face Norwich at Carrow Road on Boxing Day.
The Netherlands international was replaced at half time in Spurs’ 1-1 draw with Chelsea at White Hart Lane on Thursday, amid fears that he had torn his hamstring.
Despite this being a recurring problem for Van der Vaart, Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has stated that his creative maestro may well play against The Canaries.
“He looks okay, he looks like he could be fit,” Redknapp told Sky Sports.
“We thought he had a hamstring. He went for a scan and it didn’t show a tear.
“I think he probably had a bit of cramp in there where he’s had a problem before, a bit of tightness he felt maybe might go, so he took the precaution of not playing on with it,” he said.
Van der Vaart himself has admitted that he is likely to be available to feature, and has been impressed with his team’s form of late.
“I think I’m going to be fine,” Van der Vaart commented.
“We are third and still have one game in hand. We’re playing really good this season – you can see it in the big games, so it’s going to be interesting.
“But there’s still a long way to go. We have to keep on winning our games and then we’ll see,” he concluded.
