da winzada777: Tottenham target Ganso has failed to agree a new contract with Brazilian club Santos, and as such could well be available according to Mirror Football.
Spurs are in the market for a new playmaker, as they expect star man Luka Modric to leave White Hart Lane this summer after missing out on Champions League qualification for a second successive year.
Despite new manager Andre Villas Boas harbouring an interest for Internacional’s Oscar, another Brazilian attacking midfielder could well be on his way to north London.
Tottenham have been credited with an interested in talented passmaster Ganso for some time, and are thought to have lodged an official bid for him whilst Harry Redknapp was still in the Spurs hotseat.
However, Santos’ president has revealed that contract negotiations with the Brasileiro club have broken down and that Ganso could well be for sale.
“Only Neymar is not negotiable,” Luis Alvaro Ribeiro has revealed.
‘All other players, including Ganso, have the door open, depending on the proposals as they arise.
”If the will of Ganso is to leave, and there are clubs interested, then we are willing to listen to offers for him,” the Santos chief admitted.
Inter, Porto, Chelsea and Manchester United have all also been linked with an interest in the Brazil international in the recent past also.
