Pulis’ defensive style has the potential to frustrate and grind down Leeds’ quick direct attacking play, and the worry is that they would be knocked out if they were to face Boro over two legs.
The Teesside outfit also have the experience of playing in the playoffs as they were eliminated by Aston Villa in the semi-finals last year.
