da prosport bet: Bobby Zamora has moved to quash some of the hype and animosity building up to Saturday’s derby clash, between Queens Park Rangers and Chelsea.
da gbg bet: The England striker has stated he has no problem shaking John Terry’s hand.
Much of the controversy surrounding the fixture stems from the alleged racial slur Terry made towards QPR defender Anton Ferdinand last year; this meeting will be the first since the 31 year old was acquitted in court.
Two meetings last year following the incident saw handshakes abolished due to the implications it could have on the court case but this year the Premier League are insistent the pre-match ritual must go ahead.
Speaking to The Sun Zamora said, “I’ve known John Terry for years and he’s a very good friend of mine.
“We grew up together and of course I’ll shake his hand if he’s playing on Saturday. All this stuff happened a long time before I joined QPR. I came in as an outsider to it and I won’t be paying attention to any of it.
“John is a good player and it’s going to be a real battle between us.”
