da bet7: Agent Nickolay Guido claims quotes that he said Papiss Cisse is poised to leave Newcastle for Anzhi Makhachkala are false.
da apostaganha: Reports on Friday suggested that the 27-year-old Senegal striker was being lined up for a £15.5million summer switch to the big-spending Russian outfit who would then offer him wages in the region of £2.5million-a-year.
Cisse did not have the best season at St James’ Park as he managed 13 goals in 45 appearances as Alan Pardew’s men scrapped for survival. However his Europa League form was more impressive and he caught the eye of Anzhi when his last-gasp goal knocked them out of the competition.
However Pardew, who is keen to keep Cisse on Tyneside, will be heartened that Guido has now spoken out to dispel the previous reports that the player could be on his way out of the club.
“I’m not his agent anymore,” he said. “I don’t know where the quotes from Russia have come from.
“I haven’t been his agent since last May, so I wouldn’t try to get him a deal.”
London-based agency, World in Motion are now thought to be Cisse’s representatives but they have refused to comment on the speculation.
